Review by Anne van der Kley
Author Maris Herr trained as a patternmaker in the eighties: keeping designs simple with such a skilled background is no mean feat, but with “Truly Simple Garments” Maris has cut to the essence of design with truly wearable garments that require little more than fabric, machine, computer and following some of the easiest-and best- instructions I have ever seen. Both line drawings and step by step images for each pattern will have the novice up and running quickly and the experienced garment sewer searching either their fabric stash or store for something worthy to showcase their skills. Garment embellishers will be thrilled with the choices they have with where to add their artistry.
Sew, so Truly Simple.
